How Flat Fee Listings work

• A large percentage of homes sell from being listed in the local M.L.S. (multiple listing service) & Realtor.com® : There are hundreds of MLS's throughout the country. Each one is specific to that area and is where Realtors enter listings and search for homes. After your home is listed in your local MLS, your listing typically rolls over to Realtor.com®. Listing your home in the MLS is the only way it can get to Realtor.com.

• Most listing agents don't sell their listings: Even if you list with a "traditional" Realtor, most of the time a buyer will come from a different agent so you've wasted half the commission. It is uncommon that the listing agent finds the buyer. You are simply exposed to so many potential Realtors and their buyers that the odds of the listing agent finding the buyer are uncommon.

• Get Listed for a flat fee: Instead of paying a Realtor 6% or 7% to sell your home, you now have the choice to pay a small "Flat Fee" to get your home listed in the M.L.S. & Realtor.com! If you sell yourself, no additional commission is typically owed. If a Realtor brings you the buyer, simply pay them their half, typically 3%. 2. After you find your office you can view all of the specific details about the listing programs.
3. Pay via credit card, download the listing documents.
4. Print the forms, fill them, fax the completed paperwork to us and email photos of your home.
5. Generally within 1 - 2 business days you are listed in your local MLS!
6. We will email you a copy of the listing for you to verify it's accuracy. If there are input errors we will fix them free of charge then email you a revised listing to you.
